This excellent brewpub is on the site of the original Cannon Brewery. Now in private hands, it is a true free house. The Old Cannon Brewery serves good quality food and comfortable accommodation is available. Both the brewpub and stable block are Grade II Listed. They date from mid 19th century.
They brew their own beers on site and have a number of signature beers available throughout the year including Best bitter and Gunners Daughter. They conduct tours of the micro brewery (book for tour) and usually brew in the bar using two vessels every Tuesday.
Cards payments are preferred but cash is accepted.
