The pub was previously Brooks Bar, and then became the Castro bar. It closed in 2014, and changed into a games and coffee bar (Fun Town) in 2017, and then the Arabesque Street Food Restaurant in 2018, but reopened as a bar in Oct 2019.

Historic Interest
Between 1853-83 this was the Albion, where John Barraclough & Co. brewed ale and porter. Always being refurbished with change of ownership as it was once a Yates Wine Lodge.
