City centre pub that has a 'village local' atmosphere and caters for people of all ages. Named after a hero of the Indian Mutiny. The pub was originally multi-roomed but has been opened out with comfortable leather seating throughout. Two regular real ales are served and there are up to two additional guests. There is a karaoke night on Saturdays and quizzes are occasionally held. The TV's show "At the Races" and "Racing UK" every day.
