Mainly an eaterie
This is a one-shop-front-wide venue, very close to the corner of Portobello and Golborn roads and opposite a well-known pizza establishment. Formerly the Galicia restaurant, this is now an Ed Sheeran-owned bar & informal eaterie. The food menu veers towards Spanish. On the ground floor, a dividing wall has been knocked down revealing an open (small) kitchen; the first floor is the same save for an area created for “private dining”. The downstairs bar area has been extended with a longer bar-top at which there is stool seating. It’s a very small place but there is an intimate atmosphere between the floors as upstairs has a balcony looking down to the ground floor. The venue just about qualifies as a "pub" by CAMRA's broad definition and the licence allows for sale of drink without needing to eat. There are six craft keg lines supplied by Purity, not all their own brand.
Note that under-14s are not allowed on the premises.
