The building is located in the centre of the historic township of Laugharne and only yards from its early 11th century castle. Dylan Thomas lived in the town for a number of years and he and his wife Caitlin are laid to rest in the graveyard of St Martin’s Church. The pub moved to its current site when the original ale house opposite was converted to a carpentry shop. Very popular with locals, it hosts a weekly quiz night. Evening meals available. Two ales served but reduces to one for the winter months.
