This large, friendly one-bar village pub on the old A30 was once a coaching inn, which with its two attached toll cottages now forms the pub. A single well-stocked bar faces the entrance with the main restaurant area to the right, a smaller relaxed/eating area to the left. With a flagstone floor and low wood-beamed ceiling, the pub offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. There is a large beer garden across the car park that allows for alfresco drinking. The buses stop virtually outside the front door.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 3 regular beers.
