16th century village gastropub, well-known for its award-winning food (priced accordingly). Cosy and atmospheric with oak beams and nooks and crannies. Extensive wine list available by the glass and bottle and 'wine cave' (wine sales) business attached. Buses stop at the lane-end north of the village.
