Located on the ground floor of a corner tenement, this small pub has a loyal clientele drawn from the locals and the transient student population. It comprises a single room on the ground floor and a basement room where the functions are held. The bar has banquette seating along two walls, central tables and chairs, bar stools and large windows overlooking the street.
The cask beers change regularly, and are often from Scottish micro-breweries.
Live jazz is performed in the bar area on the second Sunday each month, and a Northern Soul DJ provides popular entertainment to an enthusiastic audience in the basement room every first Friday of every month.
Well behaved children are permitted until 8pm.
NOTE: The ladies toilet is also located in the basement.
