The bar at the front is full of traditional features including flagstone floors, high-backed settles, a wood-panelled ceiling and a huge wood-burning stove. The large dining area to the rear overlooks the decked patio garden with its pergola and teak furniture. There is no public transport to the village.
Historic Interest
Rebuilt in Edwardian times this pub replaces an earlier inn of the same name which was first licensed in 1781 after formally starting its existence as a private house.
