A favourite with both locals and tourists standing just off the A646 on the Todmorden side of the town - buses stop nearby. The Stubbing Wharf has gained an excellent reputation for good home cooked food, served daily. Four real ales are always available from local brewers and further afield. Lovely, canal side location with plenty of outside seating available. Drivers can take advantage of the large car park, while the railway station is a pleasant walk along the towpath through Hebden Bridge town centre. Canal side function room is available for larger groups.
The pub was reopened on 26th May 2022 after a refurbishment, with a similar beer range. There are small TV screens in the lounge, although without sound, and dogs are welcome. The pub operates a loyalty card scheme for cask beers, with the seventh pint being free.
