This once bustling railway hotel is now a free house. The last passenger train left in 1953, though the nearby overgrown platform is still in-situ. The licensee, a keen musician, has served best/premium bitters for 30 years, with the range on offer favouring those beers over 4% ABV. The pub comprises a cosy bar, a lounge and a function room where live music plays on Thursdays and Saturdays. Fans of particularly eccentric railway memorabilia are especially well catered for. Today the only trains on the line carry potash from the nearby Boulby mine.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
