Attractive pub built in 1759 overlooking the village green. The exterior has won Northumbria in bloom awards on several occasions. Inside, there is a split-level bar, pool room and comfy lounge to relax in. Karaoke on Friday nights. The picturesque beer garden has a smoking shelter.
