The Ale Way micropub stocks a continually changing line of independent real ales, fresh craft beers and delicious ciders - many of which are locally brewed. You'll also find a variety of specialist cans and bottles from various destinations. A small selection of soft drinks, red and white wine and a house gin is available for those not yet a fan of beer. Although a wet led establishment there are occasional team-ups with local restaurants for an on site, dine-in experience.
Housed in part of the station building the seating inside is on two floors with the majority being on the first floor. The bar can be found in a snug on the ground floor. The rooms have been tastefully renovated to preserve a railway feel. There is in addition some outside tables overlooking the platform where you can watch the trains.
