The Anglers was acquired by Fullers in 2009 and has been recently been subject to a major four month refurbishment, described as 'modern rustic style'. It reopened on the 7th May 2019. The main feature of the pub is its conservatory and its large garden that also has a play area for kids. Inside there are sectioned areas for privacy and intimate parties. A good range of Fuller's beers always available. They have their own mooring for customer use and car parking, but can be a bit of a squeeze when full. The pub and its garden get very popular in the summer, with barbecues and hog roasts, and seafood specials. Their upstairs bar is available for hire. Pub awarded Fuller's Master Cellarman status. The pub has introduced a Loyalty Card scheme, buy 9 get 10th free. Applies to beer, wine (175ml) and sprits (25ml), or soft drinks. Redeemable only Monday to Friday.
