This pub has experienced some difficult times but was totally refurbished internally around 2017. There are three TVs, and a pool table sits in its own room at the back of the pub. There is a small courtyard out the back of the pub with one or two picnic tables. Food is very limited to sausage rolls and a steak slice.

As of October 2022, cask ale had been discontinued with no plans for its reinstatement.
