Welcoming unspoilt 19th century traditional two bar community local. Saloon Bar is wood panelled, and public bar has a pool table and darts. In keeping with the historical theme the toilets are on an outside passage, but modern and warm. The regularly rotated guest beer is drawn mainly from regional brewers, though more recently local micros have featured. No food menu, but pickled eggs available.
