Tastefully refurbished and reopened in November 2019. A large bar area is supplemented by a snug. There are two restaurant areas, a large "Top restaurant" at the west end of the building and "The Nest" upstairs.
The new owner is a supporter of CAMRA, keen to develop real ale, and open to suggestions about beer selection.
