Corner gastropub, rebuilt in red brick in 1929, now operated by restaurateur Jasper Gorst who also runs the Oak in Shepherds Bush and its namesakes in Bayswater and Battersea.
Whilst part of the well-lit airy single ground floor room is set aside for diners, an adequate area, furnished with good-sized tables with comfortable benches and chairs, bar stools around the attractive limed oak and pale marble bar counter, and some standing space remains for those who do not plan to eat. However, the menu, specialising in pizzas, is very tempting: meals are served at times indicated, but bar snacks available all day.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
