Built in the mid 19th Century as a hotel to serve the Taunton to Barnstaple railway, this country inn retains many original features, including inglenook fireplaces, log fires and beamed ceilings. In addition to the spacious and atmospheric bar area, there is a separate dining room and a skittle alley/games room. There are five rooms of accommodation within, while outside there is a large beer garden, a barbecue and play area and car cark. The popular and well appointed Yeo Valley Holiday Park, which is run alongside the pub, is open all year and welcomes touring caravans, motor homes and tents. Holiday cottages, caravans and eurotents can also be rented. A beer festival is held each late May bank holiday weekend.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
