Now re-opened, two-roomed pub in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle with wooden floors, high ceilings and old brewery window panels, which gives it an old-fashioned feel, complemented by candles in the evening. Named after a local school uniform, it features a tiled blue blazer inlaid on the floor.
The pub specialises in real ales from smaller Scottish breweries.
Being close to theatres and cinemas, the pub stays open later during August for the Edinburgh International Festival and during December.
