Located in the lively Uplands Crescent area of Swansea and open since 2014. BrewStone specialises in "wood fire cuisine, craft beers and coffee". It is a large establishment, converted from two terraced houses, with lots of rooms spread over six split levels plus a large split level roof top terrace area at the rear. All decorated in a modern, but comfortable, stripped down industrial theme.
There are two areas, the restaurant side (left) is open all day from 7am, which has its own wall of beer taps at the rear of the long ground floor bar. The kitchen area on the ground floor is open plan and the large wood fired oven is easily seen. There is also a separate main bar area, which is open in the evenings only (right). They also have a large selection of beers in bottles, including many bottled conditioned foreign beers.
