Situated on edge of the village square flanked by Cotswold stone houses and other businesses. Large open plan busy town centre local. Flagstone floor, real fire to the Western end. a long well lit bar may be found at the rear. Interesting architectural features such as the cast iron spiral staircase to upstairs function room and the illuminated ancient well in the floor which is Glass capped so you can walk over it and look down. Out front is a pleasant garden with seating shaded by mature trees from which you can observe village life. Out back there are a further two seating areas, one up winding steps to a gently sloped grassy area, the other on tarmac next to the quiet road to Newmarket.
