The Buck & Bell has existed since the mid 17th century and was originally owned by local families, first the Hoppers and then the Chaters until it closed in the early 80’s. It is now a thriving traditional community village pub where locals gather to play pool, darts, dominoes and crib. There is a quieter area if a drink and a chat is what is required, at the other end a livelier area with a pool table.

The pub sponsors four local football teams, the netball team and the golf society.

A chip van (www.facebook.com/thechipvanltd) visits on a Friday from 7.00ish. Pizza once a month.
