Traditional village pub. Major refurbishment of the interior in 2012. The single room is dominated by the food trade, but drinkers can find space. On the right corner is a nice little separate bar-snug. The rooms on the left have been modernised and opened-out; the central part has new rooflights; the rear part at a higher level is aimed at diners. To the rear is an enclosed courtyard with old outbuildings, then a steep terraced patio at the back, with views over the village from the top. Skittle alley.
