The Cock Inn is a 15th Century village pub, in a picturesque Staffordshire village, which retains its original crook frame and beams. The Pavilion tearooms and restaurant was originally used as the village meeting room but around 25 years ago the owner Michael Beardmore converted it into the Pavilion Restaurant with a large cricketing mural. In 2003 the pub and restaurant were leased and converted to a French themed restaurant, Bistro le Coq and the mural covered. In 2019 the owners took control of the pub again and decided to revert to the Pavilion Restaurant and the mural has been uncovered. The pub closed in October 2020 but reopened as a gastropub in December 2020
