The pub is part of the Stonegate Classic Inns Group. It has fine views of the Broad and a large outdoor seating area in which a separate bar servery area is often open in summer months. Up to four ales, mainly local, can be purchased from the main bar with a smaller bar on the terrace. Boat moorings are available.
Historic Interest
A report in the Ipswich Journal in May 1880 states that: An application for an extension in time of one hour was granted to Mrs Stebbings of the Commodore Inn, on the occasion of the Oulton Regatta on Whit Monday.
