Real ale was discontinued in Summer 2018, but has returned after the Covid lockdown, with new tenants in place. All real ale is from Shepherd Neame with up to three available, which may vary but could include Spitfire, Masterbrew and Whitstable Bay Pale Ale.

Fine old Shepherd Neame pub which was popular with pilots from the nearby Biggin Hill airfield in the Second World War. Refurbished in mid-2017 to a high level with new and varied menu, and large wine selection.

The pub has a real fire in winter and a large garden. Live music and other upcoming events are detailed on a blackboard

The pub is closed on Mondays.
