Freehold pub located just off the A442 with ample parking.
The pub interior has small cosy rooms with stained glass partitions which surround a bar area. The separate dining room was formerly called The Shooting Club room. Note the small and intimate Nooki room which was formerly the pub living room but has since been reduced considerably in size.
No hot food is served, but cobs, pork pies, sausage rolls & scotch eggs with salad accompaniment available all day.
The large beer garden area is pleasantly situated with a patio area and a small children’s area complete with elephant slide. A function room is also available to the rear.
Historic Interest
The pub opened in 1830 was originally called The Deanery but later changed to The Danery after the area of Danesford where it is situated. Buildings to the rear formerly housed a butchers shop and a Brewhouse.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
