Real ale discount scheme

Corner hostelry facing the top of Middle Meadow Walk, the old Infirmary and Medical School, hence the pubs name. Banquetted booths facilitate preparatory consultations for prospective medicos. Black painted woodwork lends a certain gravitas to the otherwise lounge bar ambiance. The real ales are sourced mainly from Greene King and Belhaven. Can be busy at weekends. Reasonably-priced meals are served all day.

NOTE: May stay open later, especially in August & December.
