Located in the middle of the New Forest and surrounded by heath, this pub takes its name from annual 'drifts' where ponies are rounded up opposite to the pub. Formerly named the Beaulieu Road Inn, this pub is located near Beaulieu Road rail station. Inside, the pub has contemporary décor with a seating area around the bar and a large restaurant to the side. The menu offers modern pub food using locally sourced ingredients with a separate menu for children. Outside is large garden with plenty of seating, some of it covered by a marque, and a children's play area.
