Fat Sam's Grill is a small family run business specialising in freshly cooked grilled meats, Sunday roasts and drinks including cocktails. It is located in the old Royal Bank of Scotland premises near to the Asda supermarket on Towngate. Real ale is not available but there's a wide selection of other drinks including Stella Artois, Budweiser, San Miguel, Anggelo Poretti, Shed Head APA and Somersby Cider on draught.
