Country pub on the A275 between Lewes and East Grinstead. Now the only one of four pubs left in Chailey. Three gardens with a smoking area to the front of the pub. Timber fronted bar with carved moulded pilasters separating the shelving areas on the gantry. Mixture of tiled and timber floors. Look out for the brass wall lanterns and the picture supposedly signed by Picasso.
