This pub, standing at the edge of the National Park, is popular with walkers and holiday-makers. It consists of a bar with a raised area at one end, and a separate restaurant; the wood-burning stove is very welcoming in the winter. Food is a mix of traditional and continental-style meals, with daily specials and seasonal game and seafood. The pub is open all day with live music during Frogham Fair, which takes place on August bank holiday Saturday.

Operated by the Little Pub Group, which has two pubs in Winchester, one in Sparsholt (nr Winchester), and this one in Frogham.

Winter hours shown. Longer hours peak season Sundays, and variations on Bank Holidays. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays until the end of March 2023. Main-season hours will be longer. Check website for latest times.
