The Fox and Hounds dates from the mid-19th century, but its buildings are a century older.
It has two bars, each with four handpumps, but only two in use at present. One bar is quiet and one has regular live bands and music, sports TV, dartboard and a rare Northants skittle table. There's a further small stone-walled room beyond the left-hand bar that can be used for board games, with dozens available.
No food at present, but roasts are due to start Sunday 9 April with more to follow in due course.
Outside is a garden with wooden tables and benches plus two Scandinavian-style part-open cabins - one with log fire - where smoking is permitted.
Car park is at rear, at end of Prospect Road.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
