This large three storey brick built pub is an imposing building just along from the cross roads with the A60. Inside is a large open plan layout separated by pillars. The pub underwent an extensive refurbishment in November 2018. Wooden floors and comfortable seating give the pub a modern contemporary look. There are no shops in Costock, so this typical village local is a focal point as well as attracting visitors for the good value food. Originally a Holes of Newark pub.
