This historic pub was built shortly after 1746 Battle of Culloden and originally named for the victorious Duke of Cumberland. It was the site of the inquest on "Sweet Fanny Adams" in 1867. A two-sided wood-fired stove serves both the main bar and the area behind open on music nights. Recently undergoing a change of management there can currently (May2023) be up to three rotating cask beers.
