The Glue Pot is an unspoilt corner pub which is part of the historic stone built Railway Village built in the 1840s and the last open pub there. There are seven Hop Back or Downton real ales including some seasonal ones, plus one guest beer. Local CAMRA cider pub of the year for 2022, and many previous years, it stocks a wide range of real ciders. A range of sandwiches, wraps and subs is always available. Has an Allsopp’s logo on one window. Normally a quiet pub, but it gets quite busy at weekend evenings. Monday is Book & Beer club night and there is a quiz on Wednesday evenings.
