Formerly The Groves Hotel, refurbished in 2015 and renamed to The Orange Grove, then re-named again in 2016 to The Groves Inn, this is a deceptively large pub which also has accommodation. There are two TV screens in the front bar area, wooden flooring around the bar and to the right hand side, with low tables in the windows at the front, as well as some high tables with stools. There is a large carpeted seating area at the rear to the left hand side, and a raised patio area outside at the back of the pub. Board games are available. At least one cask ale is usually served.
NB. The handpump on the left is set up as a Theakston Summit pump, a cask ale which is brewed to be served extra chilled (6-8C). Sometimes this may be the only cask ale available.
