Still known amongst many locals by its previous name of The Spinning Wheel. The Hen Dderwen (Old Oak Tree) is a large, single story national chain bar and restaurant, located alongside a small shopping area in the centre of a busy housing estate. There is plenty of seating available in the spacious separate drinking and eating areas, with a long wooden faced bar serving both. Alas several cask handpumps are located on the bar, but have not been used for sometime!

Notice boards located on the car park entrance terrace explain the history of the local area. A Quiz is held on Monday evenings.
