Formerly the Crab Pot, now under family ownership, this micropub serves real ales and ciders from the cool room beside the bar. Three or four cask ales are always on tap. Bar food and snacks are available. There are regular quizzes, and live music most Sunday afternoons. The mixture of high and low eating makes for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere; a warm welcome is assured for visitors and locals alike (especially cribbage players!)
