Former Punch Taverns local recently reopened after a period of closure by new owners. It has been completely refurbished. The real ale range has now been increased to three and can be from breweries far and near. The unusual name is said to derive from a travelling circus menagerie pitching in the field behind the pub. A tiger is said to have got loose and attacked a horse! Entertainment is high on the agenda at this pub with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. There is an open mic night on Wednesday evenings at 8.30 pm and a quiz on Sunday evenings.
