Recently taken over by enthusiastic new owners, The Horseshoes was run down, but is being brought up to scratch but there is still much work to be done. Although one bar, it is divided into three areas. A wood burning stove keeps the pub warm. Food is home cooked and the menu varies. A friendly atmosphere prevails.

It was once a part of the large local estate of the Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery.
