The Kings Head is situated at the top of Quay Hill, a pedestrian street paved with setts and many of whose shops are Grade II listed. The bay-windowed façade advertises the split-level interior; the lower level appears to have originally housed a shop. Tankards hang from the beams within, and an open fire enhances the feeling of warmth in the woody interior. Food is served all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Follow the setts downhill to reach the quayside.
