Large Wetherspoon pub with two bars, in an old Victorian post office that was built in 1896. Up to seven cask ales, often including dark beers, and three real ciders are on tap. Accommodation is available and breakfast is served, with main meals available until late. There is a pleasant outside seating area and conservatory. Beer festivals are held twice a year. Close to two railway stations and the bus station.
