The pub closed as the Red Lion 18/05/2019. It reopened 01/07/2019 as the Lazy Lion. The description below, and most other details, were for the Red Lion.
Built as a Georgian coaching inn, the pub was later extended into the former stables and hayloft; the three buildings form a handsome group whose front entrance has a porch with Doric pillars. The large bar is on several levels, and has a central open fireplace; part of the area is reserved for pool and darts players. The three en-suite rooms face the large, lawned garden to the rear of the pub. Food is home-cooked; live music is monthly (food stops at 8pm on band nights); Milford beach is 700 yards away.
