Originally the Crown Inn, built in 1803, this former coaching inn has rendered walls, sash windows and a tiled roof. The door has a reeded frame and flat hood supported on scrolled brackets. Timbers from old barns were used to construct the beamed ceilings of its spacious and handsome interior, which has a separate bar and restaurant. Food features locally-sourced ingredients; 90% of the meat comes from Hampshire. There is occasional live music linked to special events such as Milford Food Week in April. The beach is but 600 yards away.
