Large country pub in a remote village, near the River Ant at the end of Thurne dyke. Busy holiday trade from travellers and Broads cruisers in summer. Plenty of moorings are available nearby and a large garden.

East Norfolk CAMRA Pub of the Year 2019.

Sensibly priced Bar meals and separate restaurant. Large number of Craft ales. Bought by the same people who transformed the White Horse at Neatishead, House Ales badged as 'Pell & Co' are brewed locally. Winter meal times vary.. Welcoming to families and sole drinkers alike. A particularly dog friendly pub. Takeaway food usually offered, call the pub to confirm.CLOSED MON/TUE FOR WINTER2023/4
