This Wetherspoon pub had a major refurbishment, in a modern style, of a former traditional high street pub. It has a large single bar with several TVs for news and sport, with an adjoining airy extension looking over the furnished patio area. Many interesting pictures of old Gorseinon adorn the walls, depicting the town and its inhabitants in years gone by.

The former Mardy Hotel has been a local landmark for more than a century, built in 1900–1 for the fast-developing town.
