A popular single-room town-centre bar with a large CAMRA award-winning beer garden, which is popular on sunny days. The bar hosts local dominoes competitions and shows live sports on TV. Dogs are welcome in the garden only. A former CAMRA Regional Pub of the Year. A long-standing stalwart of the local real ale scene. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
