Improve This Listing

This large 1930s pub is Arkell's biggest. Situated by a busy road junction in north Swindon. It has a large and airy L-shaped bar/lounge with strong colours. Several slightly raised areas with banisters exist that have comfortable settees and armchairs. The pub has darts, crib and pool teams. There is a large attractively furnished function room with its own bar at the back, ideal for parties and other events. One regular real ale from Arkell's, plus a changing Arkell's seasonal.

Historic Interest

Built in 1931 and opened as the Crossways Club, not receiving its full licence until 1953.
